The small village of Grottaglie is lined with pottery stores, made from the natural resources on this hilltop town. Here are a few shots of our tour, (thanks to RC President Luigi P), where we saw a water jug go from a ball of clay into an amazing jug. The lady there amazed us with her skill and dexterity painting the finest details on bowls by hand, before the 2nd firing.
